Inventory Screen
Designed for fast entry and
ease of use, the inventory screens record all the
details of the individual items in your customer's
home or business. Just fill in the details, add item
photos and receipts or appraisals for each item on
this one screen. You may add any item warranty
information and designate heirs.
Assign Categories and Locations only once as
your work through your customer's property.
The program eliminates the need to set up these
fields in advance and eliminates repetitive
typing by remembering these fields.
Advanced users appreciate the level of
customization these fields allow them when
working with specialized inventories. A
breakdown of total value of the customers
property by each category and by each location
may be printed in the Inventory Summary Report.
There are two types of Insurance Policies,
1) Actual Cash Value which settles a claim
based upon the actual cost to replace a damage
item minus depreciation and 2)
Replacement Cost Coverage which settles a
claim based on the amount needed to replace the
damaged property at the current market
value.
The program automatically calculates
depreciation on individual items which provides
your customer valuable information they can use
with their insurance agent in determining the
level and type of insurance to carry. The
program distinguishes those items which do not
depreciate such as, Antiques, Jewelry, Art, etc.
We recommend a certified appraiser prepare a
valuation which can then be scanned and stored
along with the item record.
